Ice Depth: 12" Conditions: Partly Sunny Air Temp: 21° - 25° F
Went out yesterday about 8:00am. Bite was non stop till we left. Marked fish everywhere. Fished the road bed in the middle of lake in 18 foot of water. Left at 12:30 with my non member limit of 10. Caught a ton of 7 to 8 inch crappies. Brought my grandson for the first time, he had a blast.

fished just off southgate boat launch on last thursday. got out there about 8 am left at 11am with 16 nice crappie and 3 gills. all fish caught were in about 16 feet of water right on bottom. goin out this friday hope i get lucky.

Went out sunday early a.m. Had pretty good bite until 9:30.Ended up with 9-crappies,1-bluegill.That would be my nonmember limit. Had to work to get them.Crappie biting at 8-10' off the bottom in 23' of water.we where fishing just past A frame.Hoping for a easier bite next weekend. Tull, thanks but, One word can discribe how it went today, "SUCKED" At least it was nice out. 2 keeper crappies, and about 7 little gills. Started at 8:45am and left at 2pm. Fished the road bed towards the south side, then moved over off the point. Used a green ratso with white spikes. Caught one crappie on a blue and silver rapala. Im going to hang it up and wait for the walleye run in Rockford.

Hey there Hoytman, Sounds like once you got past the dead zone you torn them up!!!!! where you fishing dam area?What size where the crappie? Went out Monday about 1. It was dead. Marked some large fish in 30' of water 20 - 25 feet down. Wouldn't bite. Probably carp. About 5:00 pm. the Vexilar lit up like a Christmas tree and limited out on Crappie and gills in 20 minutes.

Got out on the set sunday with good friend Tull.Great bite until 10 a.m. Then they turned off.Got our limit on crappie.Few big bluegills and alot of small ones.Crappie avg.10-11', not so bad.Will be back out next weekend in hopes for the crappie bite.Anyone out there fishing the set post how you did.Any info is good info. Cool Wink tight lines to all.

Very slow today. Was marking em but couldn't get em to bite. The ones that did were dinks. Oh well, try again in the morning.

Ice Depth: 10" Conditions: Foggy Air Temp: 26° - 30° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
Went late a.m. friday had to find them.Moved around abit ,found them, non stop action from 2-4. A few nice crappie and a ton of gills.50% dinks.Went back out early sunday and found them to be biting very good with alot of nice crappies, 10"-12" range.Bite lasted 3.5hrs then turned off like a light. Good fishing to all and maybe i'll see you on the ice Tull69. Tight lines. Lips Sealed
