Hey everyone, I'm looking to head out to crystal lake tomorrow 3-8-14. I have only finished this lake once before, just wondering if anyone has been out this week and has any reccomendations as to where to fish. Last time I was out I fished the west end with very little success, I will be jigging for pan fish and would like to put out some tip ups. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Great Day on the lake 03/01. Fished the West end with my brother and a buddy and came up with one 16 inch largemouth and one 29 inch Northern. Both caught on med to large shinners in 12ft of water on weed line drop offs. Guys next to us pulled up a 26 inch Northern too.

You are not allowed to drive a car our truck on any Il. lake. I'm assuming this is what you are referring to.As for atv's I'm not sure. Hope this helps. Jim

Shallow. 5' or less. Seems weird but try it. Big dead bait for pike. Small suckers for walleye... Shallow shallow shallow.

I fished today at the western side of the "point" about mid lake in 18ft of water. I had a couple bites but i think bluegill because I didn't catch them to find out. one was a hard biter! I have been targeting pike for the last 2 months with no results and have targeted Walleye for the last month with no results. I have no problem catching bluegill and Crappie but someone please tell me a good place for walleye or pike. I don't need spacific GPS points or anything but a general idea of where they are this time of year would be a HUGE help. I have no friends that ice fish so I have to fly solo and figure it out myself. T%hat is very hard when the area you have to fish is a 6 inch hole in a 200+ acre lake. Worried
