Got out on lake in the hills for a few hours slower day but caught some bigger fish including this bass that's a little over 5 pounds and another one about four pounds! The bigger fish come from deeper water using football jigs and plastic worms while the smaller fish come of frogs!!!!

Sorry it has taken so long to post again. The pond with the winter kill is off oak street. Used to be a great pond to fish. Restocked in June with walleye and cat. Should be great next year. Anyone fish the rock wall by the dam? I see no trespassing signs but have heard people fish off shore there. Also if you like fishing carp try the front pond at Barbra key off Pyott Rd. Went yesterday and saw at least 10 huge carp. No bass though.

Went last weekend and there were a couple large jumping near Turtle Island. A couple kids scared them off because they were goofing around on the lake. Had a couple bites with a strike king worm. No catch though. Pond off Pyatt is also a full winter kill. Spoke with DNR and LITH rep and they said they will be stocking soon. Counting the days till that happens. Fished Barbra Key and again no bass but caught a small Northern. Can see huge bass in pond though. At least 5 or 6 lb.

Hey Guys went out LITH on Sunday for a few hours with the wife. Had 2 tip ups with loaches no action. Inside our shanty, we jigged using wax worms. A few bits, managed one crappie! Ice is thick and strong. Fished by the main beach off the docks. Good luck guys!

Considering the nice prizes available at the raffle it would be nice to see some of the prizes for best catch of different species.. One year a Carp won the biggest fish... Its time for a change....just a thought
