Since I can only fish this lake with a person who lives on the lake, is anyone interested in going with me?  I'd supply the boat and buy the bait.  It's a 21' Stratos, so plenty of room.

MOON PHASE
New Moon

Made it out yesterday also! Caught nice gills and catfish. A few bass. Biggest went 3 lbs or so. Got fried again. Look like an albino lobster. Found the fish by rocky sea walls same as pinboy. I fished half crawlers on slips. Time for some rainy fishing as we are in for 5 days of rain. Either it will be real good or bad! Water was just getting back to normal!

It's a private lake so you would have to be with someone from town and also purchase a temp sticker for it also

Hey guys.  This lake doesn't have a public launch, correct?  I'd sure like to give this lake a shot, but can't if I can't launch.

MOON PHASE (1%)
Waning Crescent

Fished for an hour or so yesterday and managed 6lmb biggest about 3lbs and a bunch of nice gills and crappie all on #3mepps. Most of the fish were close to a nice warm steel seawall especially the crappie and gills.

Couldn't handle being skunked so I went down to the beach with slip and worms. Caught a 2lb bass three dink perch and a gill. Lol! Fish were pretty warm to the touch finally. Next two days should be good! Tuesday should be awesome with some cloud cover after the beatific days too warm the water and dry things up. Thing the sun had them a little stunned!

I never stated how many I caught and released! I've never had a tuff time catching big fish. Even my dog can do it. The bass are over stocked therefor stunted. And If you want to catch and maintain fish you might want to talk to someone about all the fish that end up under the dam. I catch walleye, cats, pike, perch, crappie and bluegills that could compete with the Great Lakes fish. With that being said I totally agree with you. But this lake does very well in maintaining its self. I remember when all u could catch was strippers and it came right back. Thanks for the input, well put.

I release those bigger fish especially during spawn we need those genetics in the lake 90% of r fish r stunted we need to sustain the population with good genetics if not the population will never improve and that is with all r game fish

Yeah sitting here dreaming about fishing. Probably be this weekend before they even start moving again. They have to be just packed full of worms right now. Caught a bunch of catfish the last week. On shad and small perch pieces. Biggest was about 5lbs. They are very active right now. Probably because they are getting ready to spawn. All the ones I filleted have eggs. Yeah the shad are like I have never seen in my 30 yrs fishing here. Some big ones too. Seen them by the thousands this year. Crazy. The crappie seem to be liking that. They are huge this year. Perch are also huge. Now if the rain and wind would just stop so I can punish them. Lol the catfish I make gumbo out of. It's amazing. Anyone need a good receipy just pm me. I only eat them till end of May as they turn really mushy in the warm water. Got three crappie this year for the wall. 16 in 3lb or so. Never caught them that big out of tucky! Perch go any were from 10-12. And have not spawned yet. Hell at this rate they may not, like last two years there bodies just absorbed them. Not that we don't have a million dinks anyway. Lol. Gonna cast net some of them shad when the creek on the west side resides. There was thousands of them per my buddy two weeks ago. Anyway slap your ear back on and get after em! Lol! Only gonna get better.
