Was wondering what kicked all the ducks and geese up yesterday. Any luck? Fished the west bay for little bit trying for walleye. Had a lot of movement on the vex but no sniffers. Think im gonna put the wadders on when it warms up and shred the mouth.

Fished yesterday. Slow. Tried a few spots. Ice got 3-4 inches thicker over the cold snap. Most of it hardened back up. East side was still soft in some spots. Measured between 18 and a foot of ice. There were a few soft spots on the east shore that were soft. 6 solid inches and 6 soft. With the weather coming im gonna go on a limb and say a lot of ice should be gone by Mon. Speechless Think im ready. Went through 36 lbs of propane, 2 tanks of gas in my auger, damn near 20 things of wax worms, and endless cases of bush light. Gonna try and make it out in this wind the next few days! Puke Sounds like last ice is gonna be all sloppy and no joe! All in all another great year on the ice and i'll take that. Back is sore as ----. What a crazy amount of ice we had, not to mention the onslaught of snow that is in the back of most our minds already. Cool This will be a year i never forget as it has beat the snot out of me time and time again. Sick part is i'll probably miss it when it does leave! Nice to meet the new people on the ice this year here there and every were. May all your spring bites be huge and catches numberous. Hope to see ya out there! Evil Grin

Fished cats last night. Did decent. Ended up with six between two guys. Talked to a buddy that was running his tractor on the lake and he said south bay had a creek starting to run through it. Today is gonna do some damage! Doh! Should be slamming! Got to fillet a few fish then i'm gone. Oh and a decent bass from the other day. Still haven't been able to get the smallmouth or walleye pic's up yet, have to have someone e-mail me em'. Hate that e-mail b.s...

Fishing has been amazing this season to say the least. The key was to stay active for me. Fish were constantly on the move. More fish shallow this year for sure. Ice is peeling off pretty good. Angry Found a hole yesterday that would eat a quad tire. Most creeks are opening up big time. Be careful out there and get ya some late ice jumbo's. Perch are huge this year released a ton of huge females. Huge gills. Now for the catfish! Probably a week left at best with the weather headed our way. Game on! Evil Grin

What a difference a day makes. Thursday got on some nice gills and perch. Only Had a couple hrs. till it got dark then it shut down. Aced enough for a meal. Yesterday thought it was gonna repeat the pattern. Boy was I wrong. Had a couple buddies meet me out there. Covered some ground and took another beating for the year. Travels getting pretty sloppy. Did catch a few of these cool hybrids!

Been out everywere! Dead sea! Angry Fished cliff beach even. U know its bad when. Hate that spot ice fishing. Lol! Fished in middle of the lake by center. Covered tons of old spots nothing. Cameraed for days. All fish were hugging structure of some kind. You can sight fish down to 6ft. Never seen that on tucky before. Like Duck said the fish u do catch are dinks. Getting a few cat flags but they only run a foot and drop it. Screw this time to head to Ft. Meyers and drink beer with jeffy dangerous on the beach. Fish the ocean. Spring Break time, just not here. Be back for late ice! Cool

Shredded ice all day! 15 spots at least. Dead sea. Caught a few small bass and a war mouth. Most fish marked were shallow. No flags. Still 6-8 of wet snow out there and drifts up too a foot. Got some sun burn! Need two weeks of weather like that to even start knocking ice off of her. Gonna be while for the cat fish honey hole I think Duck.
