Anyone make it out yet this year? Wondering if anything is hitting yet and if the lake made it back up to normal level after getting so low last year.

FISHING REPORT

Conditions: Sunny
On Sunday my young lady friend and I caught 27 crappie between 9 3/4 to 12 1/2 inches. She also caught one keeper saugeye. We were fishing with crappie rigs size 4 in 15-18 foot of water moving at a slow troll.

The crappie bite seems to be picking up on jigs tipped with minnows or gulp. Did well in the rain this past weekend mid day with a steady bite that seemed to hover around 16 feet of water.

I've looked but haven't heard what kind of bait fish there are in Evergreen. What bass, crappie, saugeye and muskie eat.

Thanks

StainDust,

Turn on your messenger & send me a message. I'll put you on a few shore spots that have produced good #'s for me.

Was there this weekend. The crappie spawn seemed to be mostly over as the ones we caught were in deeper water. Not much activity. Caught 8 in a half day trip. 3 bass, no keeper length, and one nice bluegill.
